Project Description - In 2007, Barnes Aerospace approached the LEDC seeking assistance with a potential project. The company was competing with a sister company to produce parts for the new Boeing 787 "Dreamliner." By utilizing a 6 year 100% personal property exemption the LEDC was able to show Barnes Aerospace that their Lansing facility would be the most cost effective location for this operation.
